Czech Republic

Czech Republic is a democratic, parliamentary state, located in Central Europe. Executive power is exercised by the prime minister. Legislative power is vested in Parliament, which consists of a 200-member Chamber of Deputies (the lower house) and an 81-member Senate (the upper house). Czech Republic is the 50th largest economy in the world (by GDP PPP) and ranks as the 6th safest and most peaceful place to leave. Czech economy is highly integrated with the European Union, which buys around 84% of all the goods exported from the country. Total external trade volume is around 78% of GDP, which makes Czech Republic one of the most open economies in the world. The central bank, Czech National Bank (CNB), pursues an inflation-targeting approach to monetary policy and maintains a de facto exchange rate anchor to the euro. Economic weaknesses include: high export dependence and unfavourable export structure.
